Orange Glazed Carrots Recipe
1 1/2 lb. carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups water
4 Tbsp. butter
1 large orange, sliced
1 cup maple syrup
Scrape carrots and cut in halves lengthwise. In a frying pan, combine carrots with salt and water. Bring this to a boil, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Uncover
and cook for 3 minutes longer until liquid evaporates. Add butter, orange slices and syrup. Cook slowly, turning carrots to coat, for 15 mintues. Serve
immediately.
