Celeste's Easy Bbq Beans Recipe
53 oz can pork and beans
4 slices bacon
1/2 green pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
2 Tbl stone ground brown mustard

Drain pork and beans. Meanwhile chop bacon and brown bacon in a large saucepan til crisp. Chop green pepper and add to crisped bacon. Cook about 2 minutes. Add pork & beans, molasses, brown sugar and mustard. Cook until thick and heated through.

I use approx amounts when I am cooking, so this is a guess on how much to use. It's a good amount to feed just the family, for a cook out with friends, I triple this. Like I said before, the molasses can be taken out. You could just leave it out or use DARK brown sugar for the sugar to add that little bit more of molasses flavor to it.
