Vegan Penne Primavera With Alfredo Sauce Recipe
2 boxes of DeBoles Rice penne
8 oz. of original rice dream
2 tbs. of Kamut flour
3 tbs. of vegan parmesan cheese (soyimage)
2 oz. organic olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 red bell pepper
12 broccoli florets
2 carrots
(optional) 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper
(optional) any added veggies that you like
boil 4 quarts of water w/ pinch of salt & oil (optional) then add pasta and cook apr. 10 min. until tender. rinse in cold water and set aside.
Sauce/ heat pan add oil then flour stir flour until slightly biege then while stirring add rice milk/ parmesan cheese, let thick while stirring (if to thick add a little water) add salt and pepper to taste take off heat.
Veggies/ julienne veggies then lightly saute' in olive oil. Immeadiatly re-heat sauce and separate pasta into bowls pour sauce over pasta and top with sauted veggies. spinkle red pepper and more parmesan if needed.
