Meatless Chili Recipe
1 can red beans
1 can pinto beans
1 package chili seasoning
1/4 cup dried minced onions
2-4 cloves minced garlic
few dashes Tabasco sauce
1 can tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup texturized vegetable protein (optional)

Mix everything together in dutch oven. Bring to a boil, reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. You can let it simmer for up to an hour to let the flavors meld, but 20 minutes should do it. The TVP gives it a nice meaty texture, but it is good without it, too. This recipe works fine with meat, too, about one pound browned hamburger.
