Easy Potato Soup Recipe

One 16-oz. bag frozen hash browns (the shredded or the southern style - I like the southern style because it makes a chunkier soup)
One can chicken broth or two chicken bouillon cubes and envelopes of chicken broth mix
2 cups of water
One medium or 1 cup diced onion
One can cream of chicken soup
One can cream of celery soup
3 or so cups of milk
salt and pepper

Simmer the hash browns, onion, water and chicken broth for about an hour. Add the undiluted cans of soup, milk, salt and pepper and heat through. It's as easy as that! If you want it thicker you can throw in some instant mashed potato flakes or buds, and I serve it with bacon bits and shredded cheddar cheese.
