Chicken Pie With Dumplings Recipe
1 lb. to 1 1/2 lbs.chicken breasts, you can use either bone in or boneless, boiled about 30 minutes, cooled and cut into bite sized pieces, save the broth that chicken is cooked in
1 large pkg. canned biscuits
2 cans cream of chicken or celery soup
1-16 oz. can chicken broth
salt, pepper to taste

Place bite sized chicken into a deep casserole dish. Roll out biscuits on floured board until thin, cut into strips. Save about 4 to 6 uncut, large pieces to make top crust of the pie. Drop biscuits strips into boiling broth from the chicken until fluffy like dumplings. Place dumplings on top of chicken. Cover with top crust. Mix together cream of chicken soup and can of chicken broth, salt & pepper. Pour over pie; the soup mixture will settle over pie. Bake at 375°F until the top begin to brown.
