Beans And Franks Recipe
(out of Southern Living Cookbook)
Two 16 oz. cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
One 16 oz. pkg. hot dogs, cut into 1/2" pieces (I used fat-free)
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup molasses
1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1/4 tsp. Liquid smoke (found near the barbecue sauce section)
1/8 tsp. hot sauce
Combine all ingredients; stir well. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 8" square baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 hour, stirring after 30 minutes.
