Apple-Crumb Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
- Apple-Crumb Stuffing
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- 3 tbsp water
Directions
- Stuff pockets of pork chops with Apple-Crumb Stuffing and secure with toothpicks.
- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large heavy skillet; Brown pork chops on both sides.
- Add Water.
- Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 50 minutes or until pork chops are tender, adding more water if needed.
- Serves 4.
Apple-Crumb Stuffing:
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup diced apple
- 3 tbsp minced onion
- 3 tbsp raisins, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- Pinch of ground sage
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
