Heather's Salsa Recipe
yellow onion, chopped
2 jalapenos, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. lime juice
bunch cilantro, washed
1 large can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste

Place the onion, jalapenos, garlic, lime juice, and cilantro in a blender and blend until all ingredients are chopped fine. Next, add in the whole can of tomatoes and salt and pepper. Blend to the consistency you like, chunky or smooth. Now taste for seasonings. You may need to add more lime juice, salt, or pepper to your salsa depending on your tomatoes or how you like yours to taste. You can decrease the heat by adding just one jalapeno or making it hotter by adding more jalapenos. You can even use other chilies but remember it will be hotter. Store in a covered container in refrigerator for one week.
