Ice Cream Dessert Recipe
1 LB Oreo cookies, crushed
1 stick of melted butter
Combine and press in 9x13 pan. Refrigerate 1 hour.
Slightly soften box of ice cream (whatever flavor you like). Cut in slices and place in pan over crust. Freeze well.
Heat and bring to boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly:
2/3 c chocolate chips
1 stick of butter
1 1/2 c evaporated milk
2 c powdered sugar
Remove from heat and add 1 t vanilla.
Let cool a little and pour over frozen ice cream. Freeze well before serving. Let dessert sit out 5-10 minutes before cutting.
This dessert keeps well in the freezer for 2-3 weeks
