Fresh Fruit Cobbler Recipe
(my Great Grandma's recipe altered a little)

Cream 1/2 c butter with 1/2 c sugar.

Add 1 c flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 c milk.

Mix well, put into 8 or 10" buttered baking pan. To 2 cups blackberries add 1/2 to 1 cup sugar, depending on how sweet you like it. I find that 1/2 c is plenty. Mix well and put in dough lined pan. Pour over berries-3/4 c to 1 c hot water. You don't want it soggy. Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes.
