Easy Fruit Cobblers Recipe
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13" pan. Pour 3 -21oz cans of fruit pie filling into the pan. You can use cherry, blueberry, peach, apple, pretty much any fruit (Lite versions are fine too). Take a regular size box of yellow cake mix and pour dry mix over top of filling. Spread out with a fork, making light ridges in the mix. Melt 2 sticks of butter/margarine and pour over the top of the mix. Tilt pan to try to cover all the dry spots, use fork to tap down dry spots into the butter (but do NOT try to stir the butter into the mix). Bake at 350°F for 45-60 minutes, take out when golden brown. If you want to use spices, then sprinkle filling layer, and also the mix layer before cooking. For apple & peach especially, you might consider cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice. This is super easy, makes a yummy cobbler, and you can have the ingredients on hand at all times. Great for last minute company, or meals to friends in need.
