Double Chocolate Cake Recipe
1-2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar or white sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips (m&ms would work I think or skip altogether)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all dry ingredients with a fork in ungreased 8x8x2" square pan. Mix in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Bake about 35-40 mins until wooden toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
9 servings; 305 calories per serving (NOT a lo-cal food, lol)
