7 Layer Bars Recipe
Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup coconut -- shredded
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cupchopped nuts

Comments
These are called 7 layer bars because ingredients are layered, not mixed.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass dish).
  2. Melt butter in a 13x9x2" Pan.
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over the melted butter and press down.
  4. Sprinkle the coconut on next, chocolate and butterscotch pieces and nuts.
  5. Then drizzle condensed milk over all.
  6. Press lightly.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  9. Cut into bars.
