Sally Jessy's Stuffed French Toast Recipe
Grease 13x9" baking dish. Cut a 1 pound loaf of firm white sandwhich bread (preferably day old) into cubes. Spread half the bread in a prepared pan. Cut 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese into small cubes and sprinkle half over bread in pan. Repeat, layering with remaining bread and cream cheese. Whisk 12 large eggs, 1 1/2 cups milk and 1/3 cup maple syrup in large bowl. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake uncovered 30-40 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve warm with additional maple syrup. Makes 10 servings.
