Nutty French Toast Recipe
Place 12 slices french bread into a greased 9x13" pan.
Beat:
8 eggs
2 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pour this on top of bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
In a mixing bowl, cream:
3/4 cup butter
1 and 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 tablespoons dark corn syrup
Spread over bread. Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped nuts.
Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 1 hour or until golden brown.
