Pumpkin Bread Recipe
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 ts. baking powder
2 ts. soda
1.5 tsp. salt
1 ts. cloves
1 ts. cinnamon
1 ts. nutmeg
2/3 c. water
1 c. oil
3.5 c. flour
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
Mix all ingredients in the order listed and stir. Grease pans and bake at 325°F for one hour if using reg. loaf pans. I can't remember how long for mini loaf
pans. Yield: 4 small loaves, 18-19 mini loaves. I have better luck with this when I sift all dry ingredients together, whisk all wet together, then
combine. Start with 25 minutes for the mini loaves. I wrap them in plastic wrap, then wrap them up in ribbon like a gift package with the person's
name on a tag. (I think I will use them as place cards this year!)
