Light Sweet Potato Biscuits Recipe
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
4 teaspoons of baking powder
3/4 teaspoon of salt
2 1/4 Tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1/4 cup of milk
1 1/4 cup of mashed cooked sweet potatoes

Sift flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder together. Cut in shortening, combine milk, mashed sweet potatoes and pat in a ball to 1/2" thick and bake. Bake at 425°F for 15min.

SERVE WARM AND TOP IT WITH HONEY OR MOLASSES. It's so delicious, if you never liked sweet potatoes, you will surely eat them now! Our family loves to serve molasses over warm sweet potatoes, it's almost like a dessert.
