Drop Biscuits Recipe
1 cup white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons butter -- softened
1/4 cup milk -- or more if needed

Preheat oven to 450°F. Measure flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add butter to bowl and rub butter into flour with your fingers or a fork. Add milk to make a thick batter, stirring only until dough sticks together. Drop by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes in preheated oven.

Variation: For a hot appetizer, roll each piece of dough in soft butter, then in grated Parmesan cheese and paprika; bake in a hot oven 7-8 minutes, until brown.
