Banana-Poppy Seed Bread Recipe
2 ripe bananas
1 egg
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
2 tsp. orange peel
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Spray and 8x4 1/2" loaf pan with Pam.

Mix together pureed Banana, egg, sugar,butter, and orange peel til well blended.

In large bowl, combine flour, poppy seeds, baking powder, and salt. Stir into banana mixture until evenly moistened.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Place on cooling rack in pan for about 5 min. Then remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Serve at room temp.
