Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf Recipe
1/2 c soft butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c mashed ripe bananas -- (about 3 med)
1 6-oz pkg semisweet chocolate pieces

White Glaze

1 c powdered sugar
2 to 3 tbl milk

In lg bowl cream butter, vanilla, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda; blend in alternately with mashed bananas. Stir in chocolate pieces. Turn into greased and floured 9x5x3" loaf pan. Bake @ 350°F 50-55 min. Cool 10 min., turn out of pan and cool completely. Drizzle top with White Glaze.

WHITE GLAZE: Mix powdered sugar with enough milk to make a glaze that is thin enough to pour from a spoon.
