Outdoor Burger Recipe
cup finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper (optional)
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
tsp. salt
tsp. pepper
1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
4 whole-wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted
Shredded radicchio (optional)
Fresh dillweed (optional)
Red and yellow cherry tomato halves (optional)
In medium bowl combine bread crumbs, green pepper, catsup, horseradish, mustard, salt, pepper. Add ground beef; mix. Shape the meat
mixture into &34; thick patties. Grill patties on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 14 to 18 minutes or til no
pink remains, turning halfway through cooking. Serve on toasted whole wheat buns with shredded radicchio fresh dillweed, and red and yellow
cherry tomato halves, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
